Electricity
Electricity is provided to Dearborn County by seven electric distributors, three of which are the municipal utility districts of Lawrenceburg, Greendale, and West Harrison. The other four companies are the Southeast Indiana R.E.M.C., the Whitewater Valley R.E.M.C., Duke Energy Indiana and Duke Energy Ohio.

There are two major power pool associations associated with this area: Midwest Independent Power Operators (MISO) and Indiana Municipal Power Agency (IMPA).

Natural Gas
Natural gas is provided to certain parts of Dearborn County by four natural gas companies: Lawrenceburg Gas Co., Aurora Utilities, Ohio Valley Gas Co., and SE Indiana Natural Gas Co.
